Recorded in front of a live studio audience at the SiriusXM Music City Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee, the all-star celebration of Waylon Jennings features the outlaw’s songs and stories from Hank Williams Jr., Jessi Colter, Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson, and Josh Thompson (all of whom share the stage together, accompanied by guitar legend Reggie Young and wife Jenny on cello), as well as audience members Billy Joe Shaver, Cowboy Jack Clement, and Jennings’ longtime drummer/producer, Richie Albright.
