Waylon Jennings Tribute Album: Hank Jr., Dierks Bentley + More Honor Outlaw Legend
Waylon Jennings has been gone for nearly a decade, but country's quintessential outlaw is not forgotten. Yesterday (Feb. 7) saw the release of 'Waylon: The Music Inside, Volume II,' the second installment in a planned trilogy of tribute albums. The collection finds Dierks Bentley, Hank Williams, Jr., Jewel and a host of other artists covering the wily Texan's tunes."I don't know why certain people can just see what's needed and do it," Waylon's widow, Jessi Colter, said in a press release, assessing her late husband's legacy. "Those people are the starters, the leaders, the movers-and-shakers. He was a leader."
